Recommended Texts
There is no ideal textbook for this course, but you might find the following two useful. Have a look in the library or IC for books that you might like.
-
Stroud and Dexter, Engineering Mathematics. Some people love this book, I hate it. See for yourself!
-
Bostock and Chandler, Mathematics - The Core Course for A Level. I love this book, but not everyone does.

Additional Notes and Exercises
If you find the course is moving too quickly, there are some
additional background notes available below, along with some additional
exercises. These notes and exercises were used last year in an extra
course that ran alongside this one. The notes cover basic material in a
gentler way and may be helpful. The exercises may be useful for those
who want practice.
Video Lectures
In order to aid revision, some playlists of video lectures are available below.
Past Exams
Past papers for the MAS145 January exam are below. MAS145 was
the course that ran in previous years in place of semester 1 of MAS156,
but covered identical material. Note that there is no January exam for
MAS156, so these papers are provided for practice purposes only.
Extras
I will add here things related to the course that are useful or
interesting.
